The end of the year also marks the end of Harvey Sprafka’s term as the Mayor of Knoxville.  He says that one of the things he is most proud of is developing relationships with community members and leadership from the surrounding areas.  Along with becoming more accessible to the citizens of Knoxville through programs such as “Coffee With the Mayor”.  After serving one four year term as the mayor of Knoxville, Sprafka did not seek reelection in the 2009 and says he and his wife look forward to the next chapter in their life’s journey.
