Knoxville Girls Host Winterset In Final Regular Season Game

The Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad does not have much time to dwell on its frustrating loss to Fairfield on Tuesday. The Panthers are right back at it tonight at home against Winterset for senior night. Coach Jim Uitermarkt wants his team to learn something from every loss and also focus on the next opponent, which is Winterset, who has had a fine season at 11-6 and is currently third in the Raccoon River Conference. Uitermarkt tells KNIA/KRLS Winterset’s size will be a big concern for his Panthers. Junior varsity is scheduled to get underway at six with the varsity around 7:15.
