Mustang Boys Run Away From Knoxville Early For Basketball Victory

P-C-M dominated from the get go and never let up in a 66-35 boys basketball win over Knoxville on Saturday. The Mustangs jumped out to a 21-6 lead at the end of the first quarter on 6/10 from the three point line and got the lead to above the 35 point running clock limit early in the fourth quarter. Andrew Van RysWyk led the Mustangs with 25 points while Kieren Nichols led Knoxville with 12 points. The Panthers are now 4-2 on the season and will host Centerville on Tuesday while P-C-M is 5-2 and will travel to Roland-Story on Tuesday.

After getting its first win of the season, the Twin Cedars boys basketball Squad looks to put two wins together for the first time in a couple of seasons. The Sabers were able to pull down 45 rebounds and come up with 15 steals in their win over Moulton-Udell on Tuesday. The girls continue their busy start to the season against Mormon Trail tonight. After this week, the Sabers will have played four games since Monday.
