We begin our Top Ten Sports Moments for Twin Cedars and Melcher-Dallas during the 2017/2018 school year. Melcher-Dallas has not been known as a cross country power. This fall while numbers were small, the Saints had one competitor that not only was finishing well…but also qualified for the state meet in Fort Dodge. J’Lyn Knutson qualified out of the Pekin meet and traveled to Fort Dodge. While her finish of 136th was not what she was looking for…the sophomore to be will be looking for another trip to the state meet this fall.
