Knoxville Goes 1-5 At Its Own Volleyball Invitational

Knoxville went one-and-five at its own Volleyball Invitational on Saturday. The Panthers lost in straight sets to Grinnell, Iowa Falls, Pella Christian, A-D-M, and Perry while beating Albia in straight sets. Haley DeMoss led the Panthers 30 kills on the day while Emily Wallace collected 34 digs, and Jenna Kauzlarich had 43 assists. Knoxville is now 4-33 on the season while will end the regular season with a home match against Winterset on Tuesday

Knoxville’s day was not very successful at the Pella High Volleyball Invitational on Saturday as the Panthers were shut out of a victory at the event. The Panthers were straight-setted by Pella, P-C-M, Mediapolis, North Mahaska, and Greene County. Lizzy Sullivan had ten kills on the day for Knoxville Emily Wallace had 35 digs and Jenna Kauzlarich had 19 assists. The Panthers are in action next on Tuesday at Clarke.
