The Indianola football team won their first postseason game since 1986 on Friday evening, shutting out Carlisle 41-0. The Indians advance to the quarterfinals round and are one of the final eight teams in class 4A, and will host Lewis Central in a rematch from week 4 of non-district play. A win would send the Indians to the UNI Dome for the semifinal round for the first time in school history.
