The Iowa Central Women’s Cross Country Squad has been one of the strongest juco programs in the nation, and last week the Tritons proved that once again with the help of a couple of former Marion County preps. Melcher-Dallas’s Taylor Jensen who actually ran cross country most of her high school career with Pleasantville in a sharing agreement earned All Region Second Team with her eighth place finish in last week’s region. Also, former Knoxville Runner Jacque Abens earned her way on honorable mention by placing 14th at last week’s Region. The Tritons now advance to the nationals while will be held this weekend in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
