The 2020 high school football playoffs are here, and KNIA/KRLS is the place for all the action as area teams work towards the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls.

On Saturday, brackets for the first two rounds of the postseason were released, and Knoxville will open the season at Fort Madison this Friday. The Panthers can be heard as far as they go on 95.3 KNIA.

Pella has earned a first round bye in Class 3A, and will play the winner of Winterset vs. North Polk on Friday, October 23rd.

Pella Christian will host Hudson in round one this Friday. The game can be heard on 92.1 KRLS.

Indianola earned a first round bye in Class 4A, and will head to Johnston on Friday, October 23rd. The Indians can be heard on 94.3 KNIA.

Norwalk makes the long trek west to Glenwood to begin the 2020 playoffs in Class 3A this week. Hear the Warriors first round game on 94.3 KNIA.

PCM has earned a first round bye and will play the winner of Saydel vs. Clarke on October 23rd. The Trojans can be heard on KRLS3.

Pleasantville is at home to open the Class 1A postseason against ACGC. The Trojans are on KNIA3 this Friday night.

Melcher-Dallas has opted out of the 8-player playoffs, and instead, will finish the 2020 season at home against cross-country rival Twin Cedars. That special contest can be heard on Saturday, October 17th at 1 p.m. on the KNIA3 stream.
