Meyers Starts 2nd Season With Oakland Raiders

With the pre season now out of the way, the 32 N-F-L teams can now concentrate on the 17 week regular season that starts next Sunday. Former P-C-M standout Athlete Brandon Meyers who plays for the Oakland Raiders just finished his pre season schedule helping the Raiders to a 3-1 preseason record. At his backup tight end role Myers caught four passes for 24 yards, his best game was last week against Seattle where he caught one for 13 yards. Oakland will travel to Tennessee next Sunday for the season opener. The closest Meyers will come to playing near his hometown of Prairie City will be January second when Oakland visits Kansas City in week 17.

With second floor tickets eighty-percent sold out for the 50th annual Goodyear Knoxville Nationals presented by Lucas Oil, August 11-14, the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum continues to sell tickets for its air-conditioned second floor for the Arnold Motor Supply ‘360’ Knoxville Nationals next Thursday through Saturday , August 5-7, and the Non-Winged Knoxville Nationals next Sunday August 8th.
