Knoxville Hospital and Clinics along with the ISU Extension Office held a kids health fair on Friday.

The event took place at the ISU Extension office with 25 local vendors in attendance. Children from all over Marion County were able to enjoy an evening of fun activities and food as the first 200 families all received a free meal. Nicolle Smith with Drake University Head Start tells KNIA/KRLS News she participated in the fair because it was a great chance to inform families that Drake Head Start also teaches kids about eating and staying healthy. At the end of the night, two children walked away with brand new bikes that were given away in a drawing.
