COVID, Flu and RSV are all illnesses going around according to Judi Van Hulzen, a nurse who works at Marion County Public Health. She said the difference between the three is how they are spread.

RSV is spread through contaminated surfaces and also by touching contaminants. COVID is spread through sneezing, and coughing and expelling respiratory droplets. Flu can last up to seven days and can be spread through respiratory drops of aerosol or touching contaminated surfaces.

To prevent spreading the various illnesses Van Hulzen says to wash your hands and wash them well.
