There’s still a chance to catch the latest production from Pella’s Union Street Players theatre troupe. “K.O.L.D. Radio, Whitefish Bay” takes place at a small radio station in northern Minnesota, which is tucked away into the corner of an establishment called “Carl & Lena’s Place for Beer”, and follows the plight of Lars Knudsen and many other eccentric characters.

Cast member Lisa Witzenburg, who plays Lena Norquist, says not only will the show leave the audience laughing out loud, but thinks people will also appreciate the characters’ interactions.

“I think the audience will enjoy seeing the different relationships between characters and the peaks and valleys of those,” says Witzenburg. “They occur in a very funny way, but also in a very honest way that happens more often than we realize.”

The show hits the stage at 7:00 p.m. Saturday night and again at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. Limited tickets are available at the door.
