Early in the evening Kerry Madsen told KNIA/KRLS Sports that there were a lot of “roosters” at the National Sprint League show in Knoxville. Meaning, there were a lot of drivers that were not regulars at Knoxville or to the NSL, including himself. Well, Madsen can call himself the king rooster as he lead all 25 laps and won the National Sprint League race last night. Madsen was never challenged as he lapped to 13th place. Clint Garner, again, took the 360 field behind the woodshed to get his second straight win, and Chase Wanner took the checkered flag in the 305s only to be disqualified due to according to officials, and altered muffler. The win was handed to Christian Bowman, his second of the season.
