The Helping Hands Food Pantry recently held a kids carnival to raise money to help feed the less fortunate families in the area. Chuck Galeazzi tells KNIA/KRLS news approximately 10,000 tickets were sold during the event to children who could use them to play games, go on rides and purchase food. The carnival brought in a $2,100 profit allowed Helping Hands to purchase 1,503 pounds of food for those in need. The event was held on Saturday February 19th at the Knoxville Middle School.
