The Knoxville Boys Bowling Squad had several highlights this season. One of the top ones was Tristen Carter qualifying for the State Meet and Placing 5th overall after getting himself into the top eight and qualifying for the knockout round. Coach Shaun Renard tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he was happy with how competitive the boys’ scores were especially at the end of the season.

Renard: “I was very proud of the boys. We had several meets that we had 2700 and one that we got to 2900. It seems if you can get to that 3,000 mark, you’re always in contention for a State berth.”

The Panthers highest total of the dual meet season was 2971 against Sigourney. Knoxville went 11-19 in meets this season and were rather senior heavy. Along with Carter’s departure, the Panthers will also see Elijah Carlson, Tim Danielson, Bradyn Myers, and Daniel Nichols graduate this spring.
