How far would you go to make people aware of a cause?
For Knoxville Mayor Brian Hatch, Judd Nelson of Celebrate Community Church, and 8 others, they’ll at least go as far as half the state of Iowa.
The men are participating in the Knoxville Cancer Relay with a goal to raise at least $10,000 for the American Cancer Society.
They’re taking turns running parts of the 275 mile trek along Highway 92 having started their journey yesterday. They’ll meet at Ken Locke Stadium just prior to tonight’s varsity football game against Chariton.
