The Knoxville Hospital and Clinics (KHC) Auxiliary has donated $9,100 to KHC to purchase a bedside monitor for the Emergency Department.

The Nihon Kohden bedside monitor allows KHC staff to continually monitor patients and can be used at a moment’s notice ensuring that the new technology can be transitioned between care areas as patient need dictates.

KHC Auxiliary President Arleen Ensor says “Members of the auxiliary dedicate their personal time to serve the hospital in many ways, just one of those being raising funds to help support equipment purchases and program development at the hospital.”

The KHC Auxiliary raises money through proceeds of sales in the KHC Flutterbye Gift Shop, book, jewelry, and scrub sales and Auxiliary member’s annual dues.
