Back To Back! Knoxville Clinches SCC Volleyball Title Again

The Knoxville Volleyball Squad has won back-to-back South Central Conference Championship after a three sets to none win over Clarke last night by scores of 25-ten, 25-15, and 25-21. Katie Keitges led with 19 kills and was 16/17 serving with six aces, Marley McKay, Lauren Micetich, Amy Sullivan, Maggie Wilkins, and Kelsey Ryan combined to go 42/42 serving. Knoxville is now 13-7 on the season and finish conference play at 6-0. The Panthers are currently on a 13 match winning streak in the conference dating back to the 2016 season.

Two Knoxville Golfers Earn Golfer Of The Year From Iowa Jr. PGA

Two golfers from Knoxville have earned Golfer of the Year in their age group from the Iowa Jr. P-G-A. Evan Smith, who is the son of the Knoxville Girls Golf Coach Barry Smith won Golfer of the Year in the boys 12-13 age group. Smith won seven tournaments this year and had 12 top three finishes. Tyler Vaske, who had a solid spring sports season for the Panthers on the links, was named Golfer of the Year in the boy’s 16-18 age division. Vaske won three tournaments and finished top three eight times.
