The Kyle Korver Foundation is joining forces with Crossroads of Pella to help keep Marion County residents warm this winter. Korver, a Pella High graduate and Little Dutch standout, operates humanitarian projects in all of the areas he has played in since college, including Omaha, Utah, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Atlanta. Kyle’s brother Klayton, Director of Operations for the foundations, says that they were looking for more things that they could do in their hometown, and have had many successful coat drives in the past. Starting Saturday, they will collect new or gently used coats at their storefront located on the Molengracht at 720 Main Street in Pella. Hours will be 10am to 2pm all next week except for Thanksgiving, and then every Thursday through Saturday through December. Anyone donating a coat will be entered into a drawing to win sports apparel and memorabilia that the Korver patriarch recently discovered in their Pella home.
