The Little and Lady Dutch were busy outside of Knoxville on Saturday, as the girls’ golf team and boys’ soccer team were both in action. The Pella High girls’ golfers finished third of five at their meet in Chariton. Camille Henry was a fourth place finisher overall with an 18-hole score of 96, while senior Taylor Dursky came in ninth with a 103. On the soccer side of things, Pella just could not find the back of the net all afternoon, earning a draw with Waukee then immediately having to face Bettendorf, and coach Mark Solomon said that the fatigue factor was evident, as Bettendorf was able to win 3 – 0. The Lady Dutch golf team is next in action Monday at Fairfield, and the boys’ soccer team will be playing Gilbert on Monday as well.
