With a winter weather advisory going into effect at midnight the Marion County Engineer’s Office has developed a plan of action for keep our area roads as safe as possible.  As of 7am tomorrow trucks will start plowing on the highways and will likely be running until dark and begin again Saturday morning with run routes.  The county motor graders will start with the secondary roads tomorrow morning as the snow is ending, continue to work until dark and likely be back out Saturday morning to finish the gravel roads.  These plans are subject to change if the weather pattern should change.

KNIA/KRLS will remain in contact with the Engineer’s Office and will continue to bring you road condition information first, fast and accurately.
