Funeral services for Martin L. Horn of Nevada will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Mason Funeral Home in Pleasantville. Burial will follow in the Pleasantville Cemetery. Martin passed away in Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines at the age of 50 years, 7 months and 8 days. He worked at Donnelly Marketing as a programmer analyst until November of 2007. Survivors include his parents, Roland (Berniece) Horn of Knoxville; sisters, Christina Cardenzana of Albia, Major Debra (James, Sr.) Gibson of Davenport; 4 nieces, a nephew, several great nieces and nephews, along with other relatives and many friends. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be given to the family.
