A resolution raising fees for services related to the Jasper County Medical Examiner’s Office and a contract for new pavement markings are on the agenda for Tuesday’s Jasper County Board of Supervisors meeting.
A 3% increase in the Medical Examiner, Medical Examiner Investigators, and Human Remains Transportation Fees is proposed. If approved, the Medical Examiner would be paid $85.15 per case, the Medical Examiners Investigators $59.59 per hour, and the Transportation Fee would be $425.61 per transport.
The low bid for the painting contract for pavement markings on various paved roads across the county is $142,919.
Tuesday’s Jasper County Board of Supervisors meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Room on the second floor of the courthouse in Newton.
