Michael Arlen Busick of Knoxville submitted a written plea of guilty to two of the ten counts of pseudoephedrine sales restriction violation he faced after his arrest in April. Judge Terry Wilson sentenced Busick to a jail sentence of two years, plus two additional suspended years of jail time along with 2 years of probation and fines for each count. The other eight counts of pseudoephedrine sales restriction violation and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia have been dismissed. Busick was arrested Friday April 9th after a search warrant was issued by the Knoxville Police Department and Mid-Iowa Narcotics Drug Task Force at his residence just outside the City of Knoxville. He was arrested on 10 counts of pseudoephedrine sales restriction violation and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
