It was a perfect ending to a perfect weekend for Billy Moyer at the Seventh Annual Lucas Oil Late Model Nationals. After winning Thursday and Friday preliminary races, he dominated the 100 lap championship feature and led 88 laps to capture his first Late Model Nationals title. Moyer took the lead for good on lap 21 and steadily built his lead the rest of the way. Moyer said this was a great cap to an already great season. He would lap all the way up to 13th place in the 31-car field. Josh Richards was second with Darrell Lanigan, Steve Francis and Will Vaught completing the top five. NASCAR Driver Ryan Newman received a provisional and finished 21st.
