Division III National Wrestling, Track Meets Open Today for Central College Athletes

Four student-athletes from three programs at Central College are competing on the national stage today, as the NCAA Division III Wrestling Tournament and Indoor Track and Field Championships each get started in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and Grinnell, Iowa, respectively.

Central’s Atwell to Face Nation’s Best Right Away at D-III Wrestling Meet

Central College’s Joseph Atwell faces a steep hill to climb as he prepares for the NCAA Division III Wrestling Tournament, but the 157-pounder wasn’t exactly a favorite to reach the National Tournament anyway.
