The First annual Caseys USAC Non-Wing Nationals was rained out last night at Knoxville Raceway. Heavy rain drenched the track around six-30 p.m and shortly after officials made the call to cancel the night of racing. Because of USACs schedule the non-wing show will not be made up and according to the Knoxville Racewaytickets must be mailed into the track office for a refund. Southern Iowa Speed Weeks now shifts to the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa tonight and tomorrow. Tonight is the annual Musco Lighting Front Row Challenge featuring winged outlaw 410 sprint cars, and tomorrow is the Caseys Ultimate Non Wing Challenge. Promoter Terry McCarl says tonight is an All Star Circuit of Champions event so the All Star drivers will be there as well as Danny Lasoski, defending champion Daryn Pittman and Kasey Kahnes race teams just to name a few. McCarl says Kahne is expected to be in Oskaloosa as well to sign autographs but probably wont race due to the NASCAR race being rained out yesterday and re scheduled for today. Tomorrow night features USAC non wing drivers, JJ Yeley and several local drivers joining the field. KNIA/KRLS will be giving away free tickets to both races during the day today and tomorrow so listen for your chance to win.
