The National Weather Service held a hazardous weather conference call today at 2:30 PM to discuss the severe weather moving into the state starting Tuesday, February 4th and continuing into Wednesday, February 5th.  Listed below is a brief summary of that call.

Timing: Light snow possible late tonight into Tuesday morning.  Heaviest snowfall to begin Tuesday afternoon through mid evening with bitterly cold temperatures through Thursday. Expect afternoon commute to be difficult.

 Area Impacted: Much of Iowa. Our area is showing a possibility of 4-8 inches of snowfall and wind chill factors to be -25 degrees overnight Wednesday into Thursday.
