The weather outside was frightful, it was also too frightful for the PCM Wrestling Quad to be held as the meet has been postponed due to PCM being closed due to the weather. The event would have brought in Knoxville, Davis County, and C-M-B. Knoxville is currently 8-4 in dual meets this season with a runner-up finish at the Newton Invitational to go along.

Things did not go well for either Knoxville Basketball Squad last night in Monroe as P-C-M walked away with a 50-19 girl’s win and a 55-29 victory in the boys contest.

Pella High swept the Knoxville Cross Country Invitational yesterday at Pine Knolls Country Club golf course. The Lady Dutch won with a team score of 33 points with Newton second with 50.

Recent PCM graduate Dalton Kingery is back in Monroe after a trip to Rock Springs, Wyoming, to take part in the largest rodeo in the world. KNIA/KRLS Sports Director Eric Gotschall was able to catch up with the bucking horse rider on this week’s Marion County PM Sports Page program to talk about what made this year’s trip the the National High School Finals Rodeo different, the friends he made along the way, and what it meant to earn a coveted spot in the final round.
