In a game that the shots were hard to come by, P-C-M had to sweat out a three point try at the buzzer by Knoxville and hang on for a 48-46 win over the Panthers Saturday night in boys basketball. The Mustangs got the go ahead and what would be the game winner on a layup by Logan Gilman with 15 seconds remaining and watched as Cade McNeill’s three bounced off the rim as time expired. P-C-M Coach Fred Lorensen told KNIA/KRLS Sports his team made several attempts to take the lead in a game that was hard fought to the end. Panthers Coach Jeff Larson said McNeill got a good look and just missed. Gilman led all scorers with 23 points while Chase Larson led Knoxville with 17 points. Knoxville heads into the break at 4-2 while P-C-M is 6-2.
