Tie-Breaker Helps Pella Christian Boys Golfers Edge Out PCM

Three Local Teams Among Field of Ten at Colfax-Mingo Boys Golf Meet

Pella Christian Golfers Open the Season with a Win

Though the cool and breezy conditions were less than ideal for golf, the Pella Christian boys golf team was able to start the 2011 season in fine fashion, as the Eagles took first place at yesterday’s Norwalk Invitational.  Drew Stravers shot a 79 at the Willow Creek Golf Club and was the overall medalist, as Pella Christian was one of six varsity squads competing, along with two JV teams from Norwalk.  The team will now have more than a week to sharpen their skills in practice before resuming varsity competition on April 12th in Oskaloosa.
