After coming so close to a state championship in Class 2A last season that they could taste it, Pella Christian Eagles head girls basketball coach, Kevin Van Maanen, said that his seniors that were on the bench as juniors while their team was battling for the title, are even hungrier to get back to Des Moines and show them what they can do and attain what they almost had back in March.
