The electric utility budget for the city of Pella is up for approval at next week’s council meeting.  Electric utility director Larry Peterson says a preliminary draft of the budget has already been reviewed, with few expenditures allocated for the upcoming fiscal year.  Peterson tells KNIA/KRLS News that despite the challenges posed by an uncertain economic forecast, consumers are not expected to face major increases on their electric bill.  The electric utility budget for the city of Pella will be considered for approval at Tuesday’s city council meeting.
