Scholarship Fundraising Success for Pella Cross Country Coaches

After lacing their own running shoes for the Des Moines Marathon, Pella cross country coaches, Doug Cutler and Robin Hammann, as well as several other area cross country coaches, were able to reach their goal of $2,600 to set-up a scholarship in memory of late athletic director, Bill Van Horn.

Pella Boys Finish Second at State

Evan Jones was the top finisher for the Pella boys’ cross country team, Gabi Meirick was the top finisher on the girls side, as both teams finished in the top ten at the state cross country meet in Fort Dodge on Saturday.
