It appears that Pleasantville’s doubleheader against Southeast Warren was their final game of the 2012 part of their season.

Pleasantville split Tuesday nights double header, with Southeast Warren winning the girls game and the Trojans taking the boys game. The Pleasantville girls started the night off with a heartbreaking loss to the Warhawks. The Trojans looked to be heading to the locker down eight, but Kennedy Core sank a big shot at the buzzer. That three made it 24 – 19. The Trojans would rally and tie the game at 30 midway through the fourth quarter but a series a turnovers and missed shots in the final minutes allowed Southeast Warren to pull away for a 51-41 win. Pleasantville girls are now 0-9 on the year. On the boys’ side, Pleasantville had one of their biggest wins on the year as they took down the Warhawks 74-34 on Tuesday night. The Trojans ended the first quarter with a 30-3 lead and never looked back. The Trojans’ boys are now 6-1 on the season. Both the girls and boys will be in action next at Chariton on Friday.

The Pleasantville girls’ and boys’ basketball teams both lost on Tuesday night to the Road Runners of I-35 High School.
