All of Pleasantville’s winter sports squads will be active tonight as the basketball squads will be at home against Colfax-Mingo, while the Trojans’ wrestling squad will travel to Colfax for a quadrangular.

The Trojans’ basketball squads will look to get back in the win column after both teams suffered defeats to Panorama Tuesday night. Pleasantville’s girls come into the matchup at 6-5. The Trojans beat the Tigerhawks when the two teams squared off last year, 65-29. Pleasantville’s boys will come into the matchup 4-4. For Pleasantville’s boys, it will be a rematch of last year’s first-round playoff matchup between the two teams that was a 64-37 Trojan victory. The doubleheader at Pleasantville gets underway with the girls’ game beginning at 6:00 PM.

The Trojans’ wrestling squad will have their first meet of 2022 at Colfax-Mingo. Pleasantville will compete in a quadrangular with the host, BGM, and Montezuma. The Trojans’ last meet was at Knoxville where they were swept by the host and Ballard. Pleasantville also finished third in their conference meet on the 18th at Ogden. The quadrangular gets underway at Colfax-Mingo High School at 6:00 PM.
