Pleasantville Boys One Win Away from Substate

A pair of Pride of Iowa Conference teams clash tonight in Albia for a chance to advance to the Substate Finals, as the Pleasantville boys basketball team takes on Wayne in a Class 1A District Final. It’s the third meeting of the season between the Trojans and Falcons, with each team winning on their home floor in the season series. The Trojans are 20-3 overall and coming off of a convincing win over Grandview Park Baptist on Tuesday night. You can hear the live broadcast of tonight’s Class 1A boys District Final on AM 1320 KNIA with Derek Cardwell and Trevor Miller providing the call. Coverage from Albia begins at 6:45 p.m. tonight.

Van Haalen Scores 32 as Pleasantville Downs Grandview Park Baptist 60-46
