PCM, Pleasantville, Twin Cedars and Pella Christian Cross Country teams compete at Lynnville-Sully

The Pella Christian, PCM and Pleasantville and Twin Cedars Cross Country teams will all be competing in the Lynnville-Sully invitational today. All four teams are competing in their second meet of the week save the Sabers of Twin Cedars who last ran last Tuesday at Lake Keomah, the #12 ranked team in class 1A Pleasantville Boys is coming hot off their win in the Pleasantville invitational on Monday that also included PCM, who also had their girls team win their side of that meet. The Eagles of Pella Christian ran last on Tuesday in a meet at Oskaloosa. The 11 team meet will be held at Lynnville-Sully High School, and full results of all Marion County teams can be found on KNIAKRLS.com.

PCM and Pleasantville XC in Action Last Night

The PCM and Pleasantville cross country teams took the course last night in the Pleasantville Invitational. The Pleasantville boys finished first overall and had five runners in the top 15. The PCM boys finished third as a team, as Chris Ellens finished third overall and as a team had four runners in the top 15. The PCM girls were very impressive, as they finished first winning the meet. Jayci Vos finished in third for the Lady Mustangs followed by teammates Payton Schut in fifth place and Morgan Novak and Megan Townley in seventh and eighth place. Pleasantville and PCM will both run at Lynnville-Sully on Thursday night.
