Marion County received its most significant rainfall of the summer yesterday, with many parts of the county receiving between an inch and an inch-and-a-half of rain. Some listeners reported locally heavy reports of 3 inches in northeastern Marion County. The rainfall we received yesterday was more than we received during the entire month of July according to the National Weather Services. There was some lightening damage in Pella too – the above photo was submitted to us by Josh Douglas. It’s from a tree at the corner of Peace and Main in Pella.
