Despite the recent onset of more winter-like temperatures, reconstruction work at the North Overlook beach at Lake Red Rock continues. John Holt with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Red Rock says dry weather is more important than warm weather at this point. Holt adds that approximately 15,000 yards of earth has been moved, but more dirt work remains, and ideally work crews could get the new sand in place before the New Year.
