Residents in the Knoxville School District will be able to vote to renew the district’s revenue purpose statement next week. The revenues are guaranteed to school districts through 2029, but in order for schools to be able to use the funds voters must approve the purpose statement during annual elections. Superintendent Dr. Randy Flack says these elections are important in Knoxville because with this money the district can make necessary improvements such as more energy efficient boilers and technology advancements. The election will take place in the board of education meeting room of the administration office on Tuesday April 6th from 7am until 8pm.
