Road construction along Highway 14 is expected to last until the end of the week.

Assistant City Manager Aaron Adams tells KNIA/KRLS News, crews are working on the sewer system along a stretch in front of MediCap Pharmacy.

Traffic has been diverted to one lane going around the construction area and drivers are urged to use caution. Adams says the area should be reopened to traffic sometime Friday.

Adams says then crews will begin another large sewer project along Main Street near Thompson’s service station. According to Adams, extensive work will need to be done there, closing the area for a couple of weeks. No exact start date has been set for work to begin on Main Street.
