Eddyville-Blakesburg jumped on pitcher Brittney Roby early and the Rockets shutout Twin Cedars on Wednesday in softball action, 10 – 0 in five innings. The Sabers could only muster five hits in all, but it was their defense that let them down in the contest. Of the ten runs the Rockets scored, only three of them were charged as earned against Roby. Twin Cedars drops to 3 – 2 on the season and they are right back to work tonight on the road against Lamoni.
