Knoxville Hospital & Clinics will offer a Safe Sitter babysitting course next week to boys and girls ages 11 to 13.

Safe Sitter is a national baby sitter training program designed to teach young adults to be safe babysitters. It’s a medically-accurate program that teaches basic child care skills and how to handle emergencies when caring for younger children.

The goal of a Safe Sitter class is to reduce the number of accidental and preventable deaths among children being cared for by babysitters. The course will be held on Saturday, December 13th from 9am until 4pm.

Information on how to register for the Safe Sitter babysitting course is available with this story at KNIA/KRLS dot COM.
