During today’s Let’s Talk Pella, we’ll here from Joel Bennett, Organizer of ACTS Ministries, about the Knoxville Service Surge. A service Surge involves large groups of volunteers heading to one community to complete many service projects in just one day. Joel tells us about last years Service Surge in Knoxville and what we can expect this year.

ACTS of Iowa is doing a Service Surge in Knoxville next month. A Service Surge is where large groups of volunteers get together to tackle multiple projects in one community, in one day. Organizer Joel Bennet says last year around 300 volunteers came to the Knoxville Service Surge.
