This morning’s rain has all but ended today’s severe weather threat, but another chance is in place for all of south central Iowa Saturday.

According to the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center, a slight risk of severe weather is in the forecast tomorrow. Large hail and damaging winds will be the primary threat, as is localized flash flooding after most of the area saw between .75″ and 1.25″ of rain this morning.
