Knoxville City Council

A development agreement between the City of Knoxville and Hormel Foods is among the agenda items the Knoxville City Council will consider on Monday.

The agreement is due to repairs that need to be made to the sanitary sewer located at Godfrey Lane and East Main Street. As part of the agreement, Hormel will pay just over $323,000, or 80 percent of the cost of repairs.

The council is also going to discuss and take possible action with an ordinance regarding livestock being allowed within corporate boundaries.

The Knoxville City Council will meet Monday beginning at 6:15pm and can be heard live on AM 1320 and FM 95.3 KNI
