The Twin Cedars girls basketball team returned to practice last night to try and clean up the shortcomings that caused the Sabers their first loss of the season last night against rival Melcher-Dallas.

Twin Cedars junior guard Ayla Crosby says the Sabers are looking for consistency in their play, starting Friday against Seymour.

“This whole season has been going up and down for us. We’ve been winning games, and obviously now we have our first loss, but hopefully we can bounce back and bring our game level up some more,” said Crosby. “Everybody overlooks them [Seymour], and that’s what we can’t do Friday night.”

A win over the Warriors would bump the Twin Cedars girls to 6-1 on the season.
