An employee in Information Systems at Pella Regional Health Center was recently named the hospital’s Shining Star of the Month for February. Tait Smock was nominated for the honor by his co-workers based on attitude, communication, etiquette, sense of ownership and commitment to Pella Regional, among other qualities.

Smock will receive a $100 gift, a plaque, and be included as a candidate for the hospital’s Shining Star of the Year Award. The Shining Star is a reward and recognition program at Pella Regional Health Center designed to acknowledge an employee each month that demonstrates outstanding standards of behavior and inspires others to do their best.
