State Climatologist Harry Hillaker says Marion County took the brunt of a winter storm that moved throught the state, leaving about an inch and a half of snow on the ground which casued numerous accidents around Marion County.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office reports that roadways in the area are up to 100% snow and ice covered and slick. They advise caution as we travel this morning.
