The Knoxville Raceway honored its champions from this season Saturday night at the annual awards banquet.
The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum’s Christmas Craft Fair in Knoxville is going to be held Thanksgiving Weekend. Executive director Bob Baker says the event will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. November 27 and 28, and November 29 from noon to 5 p.m.
Carla Roynon Herrera, daughter of veteran supermodified and sprint car racer Bill Roynon, and her husband Johnny Herrera, the current Knoxville Raceway point leader, will join Mobile, Alabama’s Buddy Bielarski and his nephew Rick Crawford at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum tonight for a special reception from 6 until 9 p.m.
